Pricing

Are you interested in the price of written translation, interpretation or court interpreter services?
Ask for a free estimate!

If you want to know the price of translation for documents in paper or electronic form, you can deliver them to us in person or by e-mail. We will then send you a free, non-binding estimate of the price of their translation as soon as possible.

The price indicated in our offer is formed according to several important criteria:

  • language combination (source language > target language)
  • whether the translation needs to be certified
  • translation delivery deadline
  • complexity of the text to be translated
  • text formatting and/or editing
  • visual text editing

Notes:

  • Considering that it is usually more difficult to translate from Croatian than to Croatian, the price of translation with Croatian as the source language is higher than the price of translation with Croatian as the target language.
  • Considering that translations certified by a court interpreter and translator are subject to legally prescribed quality standards and can be used for official purposes, their price is higher than that of translations not certified by a court interpreter and translator.
  • The price of an urgent translation, i.e. one with a very short delivery deadline, is higher than the price of a translation with a standard delivery deadline.
  • The complexity of the text refers to numerous factors which can increase the difficulty or duration of the translation process, such as the prevalence of expert terminology, the degree to which a text is field-specific, the text’s style and complexity of vocabulary.
  • Text formatting and/or (visual) editing refers to additional text layout services included in a specific translation project, such as image, chart or video editing.

Therefore, the price will be formed both in accordance with your requirements and the mentioned criteria.

The basic unit of price calculation is 1 standard page (1500 characters with spaces). The number of characters in the source text usually differs from that in the translation. Translations to a foreign language tend to have more characters than their source texts in Croatian. Therefore, the price stated in an offer for translation from Croatian to a foreign language will be based on the number of characters (standard pages) which is higher than that of the source text.

When delivering or sending documents for translation, please state the following:

  • what language you want them translated to
  • does the translation have to be certified by a court interpreter and translator
  • what is the translation delivery deadline
  • your contact information
  • is the translation being ordered by a natural or legal person
